Welcome to the website for my psychotherapy practice. I am Rachel Glaser, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Austin, Texas. My hope in working with you is to provide you with a space to learn, grow, look inside, and determine what is working in your life and what is not. I work in a collaborative way to help you clarify your values—what matters most, what you would regret overlooking—and take action steps towards living a richer, fuller life.


I am trained in mindfulness-based therapies that encourage self compassion and learning how to be as engaged in your life as possible. Together, we will discuss how to move towards what works best for you. Specifically, I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  See My Approach Tab for more information on these evidence-based therapy modalities.

I specialize in disordered eating and body image issues and perinatal (pregnancy and postpartum) mood and anxiety disorders, including concerns that often show up alongside these issues: anxiety, depression, OCD, body dysmorphia, relationship concerns, boundary issues, work-life balance, self esteem, role transitions and identity concerns. I work with ages 18 and up.
